Buffy 4

It starts off with Sander daydreaming, it was obvious he was daydreaming from the start because he was already slaying a vampire and saving Buffy, totally backwards. But it goes back to class, in their science classroom, and Buffy's science teacher pulls her aside to talk to her about how she didn't complete her homework. Instead of scolding her he tries to inspire her, with fairly kind words. Not just the librarian seems to be understanding now, the science teacher seems okay too. Of course, something happens to him, since he was hope of kindness towards her. I thought it was odd that as he showed her kindness, he dissapeared, as willow said "he's one of the only teachers who doesn't think Buffy's a villan," and he goes missing? A substitute comes in who looks extremely fishy and odd, and then they open the freezer to find a headless science teacher. This teacher turns her head an entire 180 degrees, after she is appalled by the fact that Buffy calls the praying mantis ugly. She could very well be a human insect. She begins to eat a bug sandwhich, and causes a kid to dissapear. She warns Sander and of course he goes to the substitutes house anyways, she turns out to be a She-mantis and prey's on the boys. After the mantis dies, you can really see that Buffy truly misses the last science teacher, he had talked to her reasonably, and like a friend, and then he had to pass away.

  1. I agree that it was interesting that the only teacher that gave Buffy words of inspiration, and does not think she is a villian ends up being killed.
